I am a young Hazara woman from Afghanistan. I am currently a freshman at McDaniel College pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Business. I want to become a successful entrepreneur to help empower the women of Afghanistan, specifically Hazara women with a special focus on girls’ education at large. I hope to gain the necessary skills to achieve this goal through my studies and practice said skills as a Fora: Network for Change Delegate. The goal of Fora is to empower young women to be part of impactful decision making processes around the world and involvements like these are what I look to be part of now and look to lead in the future.
