Faith Lewis is third year student at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Science. As an active recipient of the USDA 1890 National Scholarship, she has worked alongside risk management specialists at the USDA Risk Management Agency in Valdosta, Georgia. With this experience she has gained knowledge concerning crop insurance as well as loss adjusting. In tandem with her background, Faith intently furthers her knowledge of herbalist medicine in order to graduate school and advance research regarding medicine in conjunction with plants as well as soil.
