Who Am I
As a recent high school graduate from Valencia High School, with specialized knowledge and training in healthcare, particularly in Sports Medicine, I bring a combination of healthcare knowledge and passion for helping people to my daily work. Becoming a resident of Santa Clarita Valley is an exciting opportunity for me to care for people and build relationships.
I did an internship at Progressive Steps, Inc. as part of the Sports Medicine Pathway under the Medical Science Academy of Valencia High School for three months. In my four years of high school, I have training in Sports Injury Assessment and Mechanism of Injury of Extremities, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, and Therapeutic Modalities and Physical Rehabilitation Techniques, among other things. Aside from this, I received the second place award as part of my school’s team, during the AACI Sports Medicine Competition in 2022. I am presently employed as a tutor in Kumon, a Math and Reading after-school program. I handle students from kindergarten to high school. This work gave me an opportunity to communicate effectively with young children, and exercise patience.

Along with my professional experience, my interpersonal and administrative skills make me a strong addition to the staff at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. I am dedicated, organized, and compassionate. My eagerness for collaboration allows me to work with other health professionals to develop a plan that prioritizes the patient's comfort. I am also a Native Speaker of the Filipino (both Bisaya and Tagalog dialects) language, and have Basic Proficiency in the Spanish language, which helps me communicate with a wider range of patients and caregivers.
