Hello! I am Tanaija, I am 2nd degree black belt in karate, a medical volunteer, and high school senior. My family and I moved to the United States seven years ago from the UK. I am an aspiring Physician who plans to earn an undergraduate degree in biomedical science, followed by attending an Osteopathic Medical School to become a pediatric doctor. In doing this, I hope to make a positive impact by using my love and knowledge of medicine to help and educate others. I would be the perfect candidate for this scholarship as I plan to use my diversity to connect and relate with others on a deeper level, as well as being a unique individual who prioritizes, values, and enjoys academia.
