Who Am I
My 10 years of experience as a Boy Scout provided a valuable experience in shaping my character and future career plans. My experience in leading the Court of Honor ceremonies for Boy Scout promotions as well as serving as the Scribe and attending special Troop meetings helped me instill the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. As a Patrol Leader oversaw and guided other Scouts and have attained 5 Eagle Scout Required Merit Badges and 11 Standard Merit Badges so far. I will become an Eagle Scout by 2026.
By leading a group of younger Scouts, I realized I could take my leadership a step further and advocate in my local community. During the summer after my 9th grade year, my siblings and I decided to put our dreams to work and started our own 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, called Paw Scouts of Chattanooga. Through fundraising efforts to obtain needed items for animal shelters and pet rescues, I improved the animals' lives. I have received accolades from the community as an admired initiative and great endeavor to assist the animals.
Throughout college, I will pursue my interests in the business administration field and perform extended volunteer work with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I will lead fundraisers to raise donations for needed items for local animal shelters. Following college graduation, I aspire to use my advocacy and leadership skills to become a leader in business administration and a Scout Leader in Boy Scouts.
I plan to pay for college through working and scholarships. Thank you for your consideration.
