My duties included crafting a variety of bubble tea drinks, ensuring consistency and quality by following precise recipes and preparation techniques, and managing the brewing and steeping processes for tea bases and tapioca pearls. I greeted customers warmly, assisted them in selecting drinks based on their preferences and dietary needs, and provided detailed explanations of menu items while making recommendations to enhance their experience. Additionally, I handled customer inquiries and resolved complaints efficiently. I took orders accurately, processed transactions using the point-of-sale system, and maintained an organized and clean workspace to streamline the order preparation process. Adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines, I ensured a safe and clean working environment by regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and workstations, and following proper food handling and safety procedures. Working collaboratively with team members, I contributed to a positive work environment. Although the business faced financial challenges and operated for a limited time, my experience at Kung Fu Tea Boba was immensely rewarding. When I was a Sonic carhop my tasks consisted of taking orders, gathering people’s correct order, serving their food, handling money, and working with a wide range of customers. I have learned while working at Sonic that my endurance through busy situations has increased and that I can multi-task when needed. Although this was my first job, I adapted quickly to the environment and barely needed assistance on the first week. I was constantly solving digital and service issues and took effective actions to ensure the consistency of the restaurant. I am also a familiar face with a lot of customers since I’m friendly and start mutual relationships with them. I have also learned the power of teamwork and how such a quality will strive you to the best of your abilities. Some of my workers were older and younger than me, but I got along with all of them. I have learned so much working at Sonic and I hope to use my skills in another workplace.
