For starters, I’m a circus clown on the weekends.  Just kidding.  I just needed a brain break from all the “expected” verbiage and figured you might as well. :)  I was recently chatting with my mom about one word that would describe me if I had to choose just one.  We agreed together and landed on “passionate”.  I’m passionate in the classroom.  I’m passionate on the basketball court.  I’m passionate while playing Uno.  I’m passionate while tutoring peers.  I’m passionate while playing electric guitar.  I’m passionate while wrestling with cousins or crocheting with my sisters.  I’m passionate about my relationships and my faith.  

I was homeschooled from 7th thru 10th grade.  My Junior year of high school I was accepted at the Gatton Academy at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.  The transition from homeschooling to college hours from home was monumental.  I am blown away by the opportunity and am grateful for the growth I’ve experienced personally and academically.  My first year I leaned on peer tutors a year ahead of me.  My senior year I became that tutor for others.  I’ve learned to ask for help and offer help to others.

Nitty gritty:  I LOVE wingstop.  I’m pretty good at bowling.  I think Lebron is the GOAT.  I’m currently crocheting a Golden Doodle for my girlfriend.  I enjoy working in my dad’s wood shop and my fav Christmas treat is my mom’s toffee.
