My name is Elena Richards, and I am 17 years old. I just graduated from High School this May 2025 and will be a college freshman in September 2025. I do not have any summer travel plans and my college term does not start until 9/15/25. I can work during the week of the 4th of July, the month of August, and Labor Day weekend.

I am looking for a collaborative environment that fosters partnership and teamwork. During my high school years, I have developed a solid foundation of leadership skills through several local opportunities as counselor-in-training as well as my advocacy for children's rights at a global scale in the United Nations. Through this job opportunity, I want to sharpen my leadership skills such as time-management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsbilities: This was a part-time job (20-30 hrs./week) in which I supervised activities and games for groups of 10-12 children ages 3-8 years old. In this role, I built strong communication and problem-solving skills to engage with the children, counselors, and managers. In addition, I organized and supervised birthday parties. In this capacity, I demonstrated teamwork and collaboration with other counselors to address the needs of children and their parents. 

In this working environment, I built customer services skills to interact with parents, vendors, and children. I had a welcoming and helpful attitude towards all people around me. Furthermore, I used my problem-solving skills to handle challenging situations between children and with parents.

Other responsibilities included storing boxes with toys and food supplies, organizing equipment, cleaning up the play area and birthday party areas, recycling and throwing away used materials.
