My name is Dana Jones, and it is my pleasure to find a job that is closer to home as well as help me to grow in new ways and learn new skills.  It is with great enthusiasm that I am writing to you to express how my experience working with customers and my strong communication skills would make me a good fit. 
In my current role as a registered behavior technician, I provide daily communication with our customers; the parents of the children I work with. I have had many parents specifically request me to be the person they see at the end of the day because they respect how thorough I am in communicating important information about their child's progress in therapy and my ability to answer their questions. Knowing that parents trust me to keep them informed about their children is something I am very proud of and I would like to continue to grow in the communication skill as a member of a new team. 
You should hire me because I am dedicated and team-oriented person who is eager to learn and grow in any position I find myself in. 
Working as an RBT my daily focus is helping our clients learn social skills that will help them integrate into a school environment with non-autistic kids. Working with kids every day is a new challenge because our clients' needs are constantly changing. In this environment I pride myself on how I communicate with my teammates, 
recording my data accurately so we can assess client needs and programs as they change throughout the day. We work together to help our clients achieve breakthroughs. 
Sometimes I am the person who has to clean dirty diapers or is getting hit by an upset kid who doesn't know how to communicate needs and wants fully. Other times
I am the technician who gets a client to say a new word or use a new skill for the first time. Working as a team for me means focusing on the end result for our client rather than who
is having the most success at the moment, and I think this approach would fit well with my next hire. I am excited to continue to develop my skills and to learn new skills. I am also chronic organizer who spends her free time tracking files and organizing on excel.
