Hello! I am a rising junior from the University of Maryland, College Park studying Public Health Science with a Spanish minor on the pre-medical track. I currently work as a front desk representative for Patient First, but want to apply as a medical assistant. I just received my Certified Nursing Assistant License from the Maryland Board of Nursing. I participate in several clubs, such as Doctors Without Borders, Public Health Action and Civic Engagement, and Iranian Student Foundation (ISF) at UMD where I have learned to be a team member and a leader. I am currently the Vice President of ISF and program our annual events. I also intern at the Maryland Public Health Association helping and speaking on concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic going on right now, and plan to conduct COVID-19 research in a laboratory at the FDA this summer.
